Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant team members during your shift, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff to foster a high-performance culture
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to facilitate accurate transactions
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate customer service efforts to deliver an outstanding dining experience, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor restaurant operations, including inventory management, cleanliness, and safety checks to maintain a welcoming environment
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in team scheduling to optimize staffing levels for peak times
Experience
- Proven supervising or team management experience within the food service or hospitality industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Experience in customer service roles such as serving, bartending, or barista work within the food industry
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene and quality in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable; hotel or hospitality background is a plus
