Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. Responsibilities

- Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and documenting deliveries against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, labeling, and staging products for delivery or pickup, ensuring proper packaging for protection during transit.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular updates in warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms.
- Coordinate with order pickers and warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment for e-commerce orders and distribution needs.
- Conduct routine inspections of storage areas to ensure cleanliness, organization,



and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits to uphold stock accuracy and support warehouse distribution efficiency.

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload activities, and warehouse distribution.
- Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar equipment safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or equivalent ERP systems, and MRP software for inventory control.
- Strong understanding of packaging techniques suitable for various products to prevent damage during transit.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Ability to operate order pickers efficiently in fast-paced environments supporting e-commerce fulfillment.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory management.
