As a Shipping & Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Finished Goods, Shipping, and Warehouse operations during the afternoon shift. This role leads and supports the on-floor team, coordinates workflow, maintains high standards of Finish Goods inventory accuracy and organization, and ensures the protected, accurate, and timely movement of Finished Goods from production through shipment.

The Team

Lead also manages shipping office activities and provides hands-on support across all areas of responsibility as operational needs require, while working closely with the Production team, carriers, and external 3PL partners, and maintaining effective communication with Logistics Management to ensure operational continuity, timely issue resolution, and smooth order fulfillment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Floor Leadership & Team Coordination

- Lead and coordinate forklift and shipping team members to ensure Finished Goods are efficiently moved from production to staging, racking, and shipping areas.
- Assign daily tasks including pallet movement, wrapping, racking, staging, loading, and unloading based on operational priorities.




- Work closely with Production and Logistics Management to maintain efficient workflow and address operational needs.
- Provide hands-on support with forklift/PPT operation, pallet wrapping, material movement, loading, and unloading as required.
- Ensure team members follow Kisko SOPs, GMPs, inventory handling, and safety requirements.

Material Handling & Warehouse Operations

- Operate counterbalance forklifts and Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) to safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and stage materials and Finished Goods.
- Ensure Finished Goods are properly wrapped, labelled, staged, racked, and stored in designated locations.
- Print and review daily racking/location reports and maintain appropriate rack utilization.
- Stage Finished Goods in advance of scheduled shipments and maintain FIFO practices.
- Pull and deliver raw materials to Production and assist with receiving, unloading, counting, verifying, and storing inbound materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse while continuously identifying opportunities to improve material flow and reduce product loss.

Shipping & Order Fulfillment

- Coordinate and oversee loading of Finished Goods for customer orders, Inter-Branch Transfers (IBT), 3PL shipments, and shunt transfers.
- Inspect and verify final shipment loads, ensuring the correct product, quantity, and documentation are confirmed before release.




- Coordinate carrier and driver check-in/check-out procedures and ensure required shipping documentation and release forms are completed.
- Coordinate day-to-day shipping activities and act as a point of contact for 3PL shipment and fulfillment inquiries.
- Close completed orders in the WMS/ERP system and ensure outbound shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.

Inventory, Safety & Equipment

- Maintain accurate Finished Goods inventory by ensuring products are properly identified, located, moved, and recorded in the WMS/ERP system.
- Assist with physical inventories and investigate inventory discrepancies as required.
- Ensure daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts, PPTs, and other material-handling equipment are completed and documented.
- Address or escalate unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, inventory issues, and operational disruptions.
- Monitor key shipping supplies, including stretch wrap, corner posts, edge protectors, and labels, to support uninterrupted operations.

Communication & Shift Handover

- Maintain effective communication with Production and Logistics Management regarding shipment priorities, inventory concerns, staffing, equipment, safety, and carrier issues.
- Ensure outstanding issues, priorities, and relevant information are communicated to the incoming shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
