Duties

- Operate snow plow trucks and other heavy equipment to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and walkways
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed promptly
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents during snow removal operations
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving freight or materials using forklifts or other heavy machinery when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of work performed, including areas cleared and equipment used




- Respond quickly to changing weather conditions to ensure timely snow removal efforts

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license with experience operating large vehicles and heavy equipment
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including snow plows, forklifts, or similar machinery
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor equipment issues
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, shoveling, and working outdoors in cold weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Prior experience with freight handling or commercial driving is a plus but not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or during storms as needed
