Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Snow Removal Equipment Operator to join our team and ensure safe, effective snow and ice management across designated areas. In this role, you will operate specialized snow removal machinery, including plows, salt spreaders, and other equipment, to maintain clear pathways and access points during winter weather conditions. Your proactive approach will help keep facilities accessible and safe for employees, visitors, and the community.

Responsibilities

- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, salt spreaders, and loaders with precision and safety in mind.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and perform basic mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Clear snow and ice from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas efficiently.
- Apply salt or de-icing materials using power tools or manual methods to prevent hazardous conditions.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any obstacles or hazards encountered during snow removal operations.




- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, weather conditions, and completed tasks for reporting purposes.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Experience

- Prior experience operating snow removal machinery such as plows, loaders, or similar construction equipment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment is advantageous.
- Experience with landscaping, horticulture, or general construction work demonstrates versatility in outdoor maintenance roles.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in equipment repair or minor repairs is beneficial.
- A background in landscape maintenance or outdoor facility upkeep supports effective snow removal operations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards is essential.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
