- Clear snow and ice from designated walkways, driveways, parking lots, and entrances using shovels, snow blowers, or other manual tools
- Apply salt or sand to icy surfaces to prevent slips and falls
- Monitor weather conditions to anticipate snow accumulation and respond promptly
- Maintain safety standards by inspecting work areas for hazards and ensuring proper signage is in place
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete snow removal tasks during heavy snowfall events
- Report any damage or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
- Physical stamina and strength to shovel snow, lift heavy loads, and perform manual labor
- Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, or general landscape maintenance is beneficial but not required
