Links2Care's Home Maintenance & Repair Referral program assists seniors and adults with disabilities in Ontario to live independently by connecting them with reliable snow removal service providers. Providers receive client referrals from the Home Maintenance & Repair Program Leader in designated service areas Halton Hills specifically Georgetown (coverage needed!) and are responsible for contacting clients directly to coordinate services. Task details and payment arrangements are made directly between .

Providers are reliable individuals who enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions and helping seniors in their community.

Required Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of snow and ice removal.
- Familiarity with snow removal equipment such as snow blowers and shovels and snow plows (if necessary)
- Clients reside in Halton Hills or surrounding area and can get to Georgetown quickly
- Must be a resident of Canada and/or have a valid work permit.
- Access to own transportation and equipment (e.g., snow blowers, shovels) is required.

Skills and Experience:
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable, dependable, and accountable to commitments made with clients.
- Able to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate equipment such as snow blowers.




- Willingness to work outdoors in all seasonal weather conditions.

Key Position Responsibilities:
- Review job requirements with clients and provide estimates for snow removal services ahead of and during peak snow removal season.
- Respond to client requests for service in a timely manner (preferably within 12 hours).
- Must complete jobs as soon/early as possible so that clients can be protected and have accessibility.
- Complete snow removal services as requested using your own or client-provided equipment.

Home Maintenance & Repair work can be physically demanding and may require working in extreme weather conditions, heavy lifting, bending, and stretching. Links2Care provides a referral service and is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained. Providers agree that if a service license becomes compulsory during the course of offering Home Maintenance & Repair assistance, they will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining the appropriate licensing requirements. In terms of pay- you set your prices per snow removal however, they must be affordable for our seniors and clients with disabilities.
