The Quality Inspector makes the quality rounds, inspects the parts to ensure that the operators have producedparts that meet all customer requirements and advises the supervisor on what to do when a part is not 100%compliant. He/she ensures that operatorsuse the right work methods and, if necessary, advises them. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Quality Perform rounds on all presses/workstations every hour to ensure the conformity of the parts. Identify any potential defects or problems that could compromise the integrity of the part. Advise the supervisor when the parts are not 100% compliant, i.E. either accept it, refuse it or involve the quality manager. Adequately complete the front and back of the production report. Dock - audit on certain products. Set aside samples for the next shift.
