What We’re Looking For: With growth in mind, we are looking for an RVT who is curious about ER and Specialty Medicine. This will be a multidisciplinary role, with great opportunity to learn and grow in your career!

The ideal candidate will

- Be an RVT with 1+ years of experience and/or a desire to learn
- Believe in the importance of our service-oriented approach to care and valuing the relationships we have with our clients, referring DVMs and our patients.




- Prioritize building trust with clients and honouring the Human Animal Bond
- Demonstrate strong nursing care skills, problem solving and integrity.
- Demonstrate strong anesthesia skills and/or a passion for learning
- Be highly organized, with the ability to prioritize effectively and communicate clearly in a fast paced, emergency-based environment
- Be enthusiastic about learning and growing in veterinary medicine
- Be passionate about helping pets the people who love them

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with clients and fellow veterinary care team members using effective oral and written communication skills.
- Administer and analyze diagnostic tests (hematology, clinical chemistry, cytology, urinalysis, etc.) utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist Veterinarian with surgical and therapeutic procedures. Utilize gold-standard patient care techniques, ensuring operating room environment complies with all aseptic standards and protocols.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia and analgesia in accordance with the veterinary scope of practice and provincial laws governing the RVT profession.
- Provide excellent veterinary nursing care in a professional and ethical manner within the scope of regulations dictated by the provincial governing laws of the profession.
- Document and maintain accurate veterinary medical records, following regulated procedures and standards.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art veterinary medical equipment, following health and safety regulations in accordance with veterinary profession standards.
- Execute and evaluate quality diagnostic images utilizing knowledge of theory, principles and concepts.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and support a collaborative work environment and assist other staff members as required.




- Other tasks as required by our technical support team.
