We are seeking an experienced Spray Painter / Wood Finisher to work in a woodworking and furniture manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will prepare, spray, stain, paint, and finish wood products such as cabinets, furniture, doors, panels, and custom millwork.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare wood and MDF surfaces by sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming.

- Apply paint, stain, lacquer, primer, sealer, and clear coats using qualified spray equipment.

- Operate HVLP spray guns, compressors, and related finishing equipment.

- Mix paints, stains, and finishing materials according to specifications.

- Perform colour matching and ensure consistent colour, sheen, texture, and coverage.

- Sand between coats and perform touch-ups when required.

- Inspect finished products and correct runs, drips, scratches, uneven coverage, or other imperfections.

- Clean and maintain spray guns, spray booths, and finishing equipment.

- Handle finished wood components carefully to prevent damage.





- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and use required PPE.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 3 years of spray painting/wood finishing experience preferred.

- Previous experience in woodworking, furniture, cabinetry, or millwork strongly preferred.

- Experience using spray guns and power sanding equipment.

- Knowledge of paints, stains, lacquers, primers, sealers, and clear coats.

- Ability to prepare and finish wood/MDF surfaces properly.

- Strong attention to detail and quality.

- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive work.

- Ability to lift approximately 40 50 lbs.

- CSA-approved safety shoes and appropriate PPE required.
