Duties

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper dosage and administration instructions are provided to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review prescriptions, clarify orders, and optimize medication therapy plans.
- Offer expert guidance on medication management, including potential side effects, interactions, and contraindications.
- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and inventory control in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide patient care services such as medication counseling, health screenings, and education on proper medication use.




- Monitor for adverse drug reactions or errors, intervening promptly to ensure patient safety.
- Stay current with medical terminology updates, pharmaceutical innovations, and hospital protocols to deliver the highest quality care.

Experience

- Proven experience working as a Pharmacist in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred.
- Strong background in pediatrics and patient care within rapid-paced medical environments.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and hospital pharmacy operations.
- Previous experience with medication reconciliation, inventory management, and regulatory compliance is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and educate patients.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical situations while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
