Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately assemble steel framing structures.
- Install steel studs, tracks, and other framing components according to project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and secure framing materials.
- Assist with concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for structural support elements.
- Collaborate with carpenters, drywall installers, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and site safety protocols during all tasks.




- Support restoration projects by replacing or repairing existing steel frameworks or damaged structures.

Skills

- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
- Experience with construction tasks such as drywall installation, siding work, concrete forming, and finishing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation when necessary.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for joining steel components securely.
- Familiarity with woodworking skills applicable to framing projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
- Understanding of schematics related to structural layouts and metal framing systems.
