Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Suite Housekeepers to join our newly forming support services team.

The Suite Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, comfortable, and sanitary living environments for residents in their private suites, as well as other assigned areas within the community. The role plays a key part in supporting residents’ dignity, health, safety, and quality of life by delivering respectful, detail-oriented housekeeping services in a professional manner and in accordance with established cleaning standards, procedures, schedules, and infection prevention and control practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain resident suites and assigned areas in accordance with established housekeeping, cleanliness, sanitation, and infection prevention standards and schedules.
- Perform routine cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning furniture, mirrors, windows, and other assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect resident bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers/tubs, grab bars, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces, using approved products and procedures.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and launder linens and towels as assigned and in accordance with established standards.
- Empty and properly dispose of garbage and recycling and replace liners as required.
- Replenish applicable resident and housekeeping supplies and maintain housekeeping carts, equipment,



supply rooms, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and adequately stocked condition.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers, and respond appropriately to resident requests and housekeeping concerns.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and team-oriented approach and contribute to a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents.

Qualifications & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience, particularly in a senior living, hospitality or healthcare setting, preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform cleaning duties to established standards with strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, prioritize assigned tasks, and contribute effectively as part of a team.
- Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with a courteous, compassionate, patient, and respectful approach when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers.
- Demonstrated commitment to resident privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and quality customer service.
- Basic understanding of infection prevention, sanitation, workplace safety, and proper chemical handling; required training will be provided.
- Satisfactory criminal record and vulnerable sector checks.
