Company Overview iFabric Corp. (TSX: IFA) is a Toronto-based company that specializes in socially responsible textile technologies and intimates and wardrobe solutions. Through its subsidiary, IFTNA, the company develops and patents performance additives for textiles, including antimicrobial and antiviral solutions for medical, athletic, military, consumer, and corporate apparel. iFabric Corp. also manufactures private label performance apparel brands and is launching its own performance and travel apparel. Its other subsidiary, Coconut Grove Intimates, designs and supplies high-style and comfortable intimate and sleepwear apparel collections to global markets.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist – Inbound & Procurement to join our Supply Chain Operations team. This is a role supporting purchasing, inbound logistics, vendor coordination, ERP transactions, AP documentation, reporting, and day-to-day supply chain operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain Operations, Planning, Finance, Warehouse, and other internal teams to ensure purchase orders and inbound activities are processed accurately and on time. The role requires strong attention to detail, follow-up skills, and the ability to identify and escalate issues before they impact operations.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase Orders & Procurement
- Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system based on approved planning and purchasing requirements.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy, including SKUs, quantities, pricing, vendors, and required delivery dates.
- Communicate with vendors regarding order confirmations, changes, product availability, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up on delays, missing information, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and supporting documentation.
Inbound Logistics & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate inbound shipments with vendors, freight carriers, and 3PL partners.
- Monitor shipment status, expected arrival dates, and outstanding inbound requirements.
- Ensure required shipping, receiving, and customs documentation is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with warehouses and internal teams to support timely receipt of goods.
- Investigate and follow up on discrepancies involving quantities, shipments, inventory, or documentation.
- Escalate significant or recurring inbound issues
ERP & Accounts Payable Support
- Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and related information in the ERP system.
- Process vendor bills and AP vouchers based on approved supporting documentation.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving records.
- Investigate discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices and follow up with the appropriate parties.
- Assist with maintaining accurate vendor and purchasing information.
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare and maintain regular purchasing, inbound, and operational reports.
- Monitor purchase order status, inbound shipments, vendor performance, and outstanding orders.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
- Ensure reports and supporting data are accurate, complete, and provided on schedule.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with purchase orders, vendor coordination, and inbound logistics.
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with invoice, vendor bill, or AP voucher processing.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with EDI, retail, consumer products, 3PL operations, or similar environments is an asset.
What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, analytical, and accountable. The ideal candidate can manage day-to-day purchasing and inbound activities with minimal supervision, is comfortable working with ERP systems and Excel, and takes initiative when issues arise. You should be able to distinguish between routine tasks and exceptions that require further investigation or management attention.
Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
