We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Coordinator to help manage website projects, ongoing maintenance, and day-to-day client requests. This is a freelance role with the potential to grow into a long-term contract.

Who We Are For 20 years, we’ve worked with organizations focused on social justice, education, LGBTQ+ advocacy, climate justice, and other mission-driven causes. Yippa is based in Canada, and our fully remote team includes designers, developers, and project managers across North and South America.

The Role

Working closely with our Managing Director and Project Manager, you will:

- Coordinate website projects, maintenance, and day-to-day client requests.
- Turn client requests into clear, detailed tasks for our team and gather any missing information.
- Track projects, deadlines, hours, and internal follow-ups to keep work moving.
- Triage client-reported website issues, communicate them clearly to developers, and explain solutions to clients.
- Review staging websites and complete frontend QA.
- Help improve and document our internal project management processes.

What We’re Looking For

- Excellent written communication and confidence communicating directly with clients.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple projects.
- Experience with website projects and a good understanding of the website design/development process.
- Hands-on WordPress experience, including content editing and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand website issues and communicate clearly between clients and developers.




- Comfortable using project management tools and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc).
- Fluent English, written and spoken.

The Details

- Freelance contract: Approximately 5-15 hours per week depending on workload, with the potential for a long-term ongoing contract and more responsibility over time.
- 100% remote: To ensure good overlap with our team and clients, we’re looking for applicants based in North, Central, or South America.
- Hours: Flexible, with regular availability overlapping our working hours of 9am–4pm Pacific Time, Monday - Friday.
- Rate: Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
