Position Overview
W.S.C. Transport Inc. is looking for temporary harvest-season truck drivers to join our team during the busy agricultural harvest period.
This position is ideal for an experienced owner-operator who has their own truck and is looking for additional work during harvest.Drivers will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of agricultural products throughout Ontario.
Drivers must provide their own truck. A company-owned trailer may be available for rental if required.
Position Type
Temporary / Seasonal – Harvest Season The anticipated period of work will be during the agricultural harvest season, with scheduling and duration dependent on customer demand and harvest conditions.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Ontario Class AZ Licence
- Own truck required
- Dump trailer experience
- Minimum 3 years of commercial truck driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract and satisfactory CVOR record
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Agricultural transportation experience considered a strong asset
What You'll Do
- Safely operate your truck in compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations
- Transport agricultural products between farms, mills, elevators, and other customer locations throughout Ontario
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while adapting to changing conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding loads, delays, equipment issues, or other changes
- Complete and submit required paperwork accurately and on time
- Provide professional and courteous service at pickup and delivery locations
- Work safely and efficiently in busy harvest-season environments

Working Conditions

- Early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required depending on customer and harvest demands
- Frequent loading and unloading environments, including farms, mills, elevators, and agricultural facilities
- Drivers must be physically capable of completing required inspections and other basic job duties
