We are currently looking for a motivated, high-quality team member to join our team as a Territory Manager overseeing both our Castlegar and Nelson locations.

Job Summary The Territory Manager is responsible for leading the overall performance, operations, and people management of two assigned retail locations. This role provides direct leadership to in-store teams, ensures operational excellence, and drives sales results while maintaining full compliance with Bell and Connects Wireless standards.

The Territory Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for staffing, training, sales performance, customer experience, and operational compliance across both locations. Through hands-on leadership, coaching, and clear communication, the manager creates and maintains high-performing, customer-focused environments while acting as the key liaison between store teams and senior leadership.

As part of this dual-location responsibility, the Territory Manager is required to work from their non-home store location a minimum of two (2) days per week to ensure consistent leadership presence and operational alignment across both stores.

Key Responsibilities - For both locations including, but not limited to:

Operational Leadership

- Oversee daily store operations, including transactions, invoicing, and reporting.
- Provides consistent, in-person coaching and leadership support.
- Ensure store operations meet all compliance, quality, and brand standards set by Bell and Connects Wireless.
- Maintain operational efficiency and accountability across all store functions.

Staffing & Scheduling

- Build and manage a staff schedule 3-4 weeks in advance.
- Proactively adjust staffing to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
- Support store operations by covering non-coverable shifts when required in both locations.




- Address attendance and scheduling concerns in collaborations with or Regional Manager and/or Human Resources.

Hiring, Training & Development

- Interview and select candidates who successfully pass screening.
- Build and maintain a strong, customer-focused team.
- Lead initial onboarding and ongoing sales training programs.
- Implement daily “coaching on the fly” techniques to reinforce best practices.
- Conduct performance reviews on schedule and maintain accurate coaching documentation.
- Mentor and inspire team members to meet sales targets and develop professionally.

Sales Leadership & KPI Management

- Support and execute outreach and outside-sales initiatives.
- Track KPI’s and ensure monthly and quarterly sales turrets are met.
- Analyze sales and performance trends and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure promotions and sales strategies are executed consistently and effectively.

Communication & Coordination

- Serve as the primary communication liaison between store teams and upper management.
- Submit weekly operational updates, trackers, and reports on time
- Keep leadership informed on staffing levels, sales performance, events, and overall store health.

Customer Experience

- Uphold and enforce high customer service standards.
- Support staff with customer escalations and complex service issues.
- Ensure delivery of consistent, positive, and memorable customer experiences.

Events & Community Outreach

- Ensure execution of outreach strategies to strengthen community presence and customer engagement.
- Participate in and support store community events, activations, and promotions.

Inventory & Merchandising

- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate replenishment within approval guidelines.
- Ensure all merchandising, displays, and visual standards are consistently met.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, rotations, and compliance.

Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, audit requirements, and security standards.
- Report any concerns of employees working against any company policy to Human Resources.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Uphold cash handling, inventory, and operational controls.
- Provides consistent, in-person coaching and leadership support.
- Ensure store operations meet all compliance, quality, and brand standards set by Bell and Connects Wireless.
- Maintain operational efficiency and accountability across all store functions.

Compensation

Base Wage is starting at $43,680 competitive commission structure bonus eligibility

Qualifications

- 2 years in management role (required). In a Telecommunications field (preferred)
- Experience in commissionable sales related role (preferred)
- Experience in the telecom industry (asset).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, customer-first environment.
