Business Development Manager, Mining ServicesJob DescriptionPosted Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 4:00 AMMaking Canada a safer place to live and work for over 90 years.As Canada's trusted safety partner since 1935, we work alongside customers coast to coast to help ensure people return home safely at the end of every shift.Levitt-Safety is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the mining & industrial sector.This role is ideal for a business development professional who thrives in complex, relationship-driven sales environments and is excited to learn and operate within heavy industrial settings.You'll work closely with mines, OEMs, and heavy equipment dealers - positioning Levitt-Safety as a trusted partner in protecting people, equipment, and operations.What You'll DoIdentify and win new business with mining companies, OEMs, and equipment dealersDevelop and close long-cycle service agreements, including preferred service partnerships and embedded technician modelsExpand Levitt-Safety's footprint in accounts where we have limited or no service presenceLead major proposals and bids, collaborating with internal subject matter expertsBuild and manage a strong pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce)Partner with regional sales and service teams to grow both service and product opportunitiesDeliver value through audits, training, and operational insights to position Levitt-Safety as a trusted advisorStay current on mining industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapeRepresent Levitt-Safety at industry events, trade shows,



and customer sitesWhat Success Looks LikeWithin 6–12 months:Convert pipeline into signed service agreementsIncrease service penetration within key accountsDemonstrate measurable revenue growthWithin 12–18 months:Secure multi-site or fleet-wide agreementsBecome a recognized expert and trusted partner in the mining sectorWhat You BringExperience selling into the mining industry (required)Background in heavy equipment, industrial services, or safety solutions (preferred)Robust business development and "hunter" mindsetAbility to manage long, complex sales cyclesMechanical/technical aptitude and understanding of industrial operationsExperience working with maintenance, engineering, and safety teamsStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsExperience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)Willingness to travel extensively to remote sitesBilingual (French/English) is an asset for Eastern CanadaThis role involves frequent travel to remote mining sites across Canada, including both surface and underground operations.
