As part of MEC, you will be essential in supporting our members through expert bike assembly and repairs. This role includes mentoring staff and assisting in winter ski shop operations as well. Your deep knowledge of biking will enable you to provide excellent service, connect with members, and inspire their outdoor adventures while adhering to our sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide member service and support in the shop
• Assemble and repair bicycles under MEC standards
• Install and maintain bike accessories and components
• Conduct diagnostics on bicycle issues
• Ensure quality control in repairs and assembly
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a bike shop
• Knowledge of parts terminology and service techniques
• Ability to demonstrate bicycle building
• Availability required Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Capable of physical tasks, including lifting
