About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting qualified looking to join a growing and collaborative organization.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements




- Support external audits and year-end reporting

Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- CPA designation or CPA candidacy is an asset
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
