Clancy’s Service Centre – Lindsay, Ontario

Clancy’s Service Centre is looking for a reliable and hardworking Temporary Full-Time Tire Technician / Labourer to join our team for the upcoming busy tire season.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable in a fast-paced workplace, and is interested in gaining experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

Duties will include

- Removing and installing wheels and tires
- Mounting and balancing tires
- Checking and adjusting tire pressures
- Moving, organizing and storing customer tires
- Assisting technicians and shop staff as required
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Helping with general shop duties and cleanup
- Safely operating shop equipment and following established procedures

What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting wheels and tires
- Comfortable working in a busy shop environment
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence preferred




- Previous automotive, tire shop or mechanical experience is an asset, but not required

Training can be provided to the right candidate.

Position Details

- Full-time, temporary/seasonal position
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Position is expected to run through the busy tire season. The position could become permanent for the right candidate
