Overview

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team for year‑round work. We operate a tandem dump truck, hauling dirt, gravel, and Equipment to and from job sites. We’re looking for a skilled driver who takes pride in their work, wants long‑term stability with a company that values them, and upholds strong standards of professionalism, safety, and equipment care.

Applicants must have experience as a Heavy Equipment Hauler in Alberta and is responsible for safely transporting, loading, securing, and unloading heavy machinery across job sites.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 driver’s license
- 5 years driver’s abstract
- 3 years Commercial Experience Letter mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience equipment hauling in Alberta
- Sound Knowledge of hauling dirt, gravel, and excavation materials
- Sound knowledge of rigging and load securement of excavation equipment
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and reliable
- Ability to work some weekends when required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience self-loading (20 ton Excavator,



5 ton Loader)
- Physically capable of climbing in/out of trucks and performing light labour
- Ability to read, write and understand English.

Functional Responsibilities

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Complete daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload Heavy Equipment
- Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance when required
- Operate equipment safely and in compliance with all road laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisor, gravel pits, and subcontractors
- Assist with additional duties as assigned

Safety Requirements

- Wear required PPE including hard hats, gloves, reflective vests, hearing protection, eye protection, and steel‑toe footwear
- Follow all company and site‑specific safety protocols

Compensation & Schedule Pay: $30–$33 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 8‑hour, 10‑hour, or 12‑hour shifts

Overtime: Available
