We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team. This is an important front-line role within our hospital. You will be one of the first people our clients meet and an important part of helping their visits feel organized, supportive, and positive.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth, compassion, and professionalism.
- Create a positive first and last impression for every client who visits Wilson’s.
- Answer phones, respond to client questions, and help owners navigate their pet’s care.
- Schedule appointments thoughtfully and efficiently while supporting the hospital’s scheduling goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient and client records.
- Process payments, invoices, and billing inquiries accurately.
- Communicate information about veterinary services, preventative care, products, and hospital programs.
- Support our veterinary team with administrative tasks and day-to-day hospital needs.
- Assist with basic laboratory preparation and other clinic tasks as required.
- Help ensure callbacks, follow-ups, and client requests are handled in a timely manner.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.




- Work collaboratively with the entire team to ensure a smooth client and patient experience.
- Participate in team huddles, training, and ongoing learning opportunities.
- Help create a positive team culture where we support one another and have a little fun along the way!

What We’re Looking For
- A genuine love for animals and a desire to make a difference for pets and their families.
- Previous veterinary reception, animal care, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm, approachable, and positive personality.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using computers and learning veterinary practice management systems.
- Someone who is proactive, dependable, and willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
- A team player who is open to feedback, learning, and growing.
- Laboratory or veterinary medical experience is considered an asset.
