UFA is looking for a Yard Shipper/Receiver in Alberta to enhance operational efficiency. This temporary position prioritizes safety, customer service, and effective inventory management.
In this role, you'll be under the supervision of the Yard Manager. Key functions include the accurate handling of shipments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Strong organizational skills, ability to operate forklifts, and effective communication abilities are critical for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute all shipping/receiving duties meticulously
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintenance
• Utilize materials handling equipment effectively
• Load and unload trucks in compliance with UFA standards
• Uphold safety and cleanliness in the yard workplace
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or related experience
• 1-2 years' warehouse experience preferred
• Valid forklift operation certification
• Ability to physically lift 25 kg
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
