Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our dynamic media team for the a 1 month base contract. In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging video content and compelling visual designs that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and proficiency in a variety of editing and design software.

Applicants must understand Punjabi. Around 90% of the editing work is in Punjabi you'll be working with Punjabi-language footage and audio throughout. Please only apply if you can follow Punjabi comfortably; this is a hard requirement, not a preference.

Responsibilities

- Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content suitable for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations
- Create visually appealing graphics, animations, and layouts that support marketing campaigns and brand messaging
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver impactful visuals
- Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro,



Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop to execute editing tasks
- Design graphics using tools like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign for promotional materials, infographics, and digital assets
- Maintain organized project files and assets for efficient workflow management
- Stay updated on current trends in video production and graphic design to ensure fresh and innovative content creation

Requirements

- MUST be able understand Punjabi as 90% of your editing will in this lanhguage
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus
- Solid understanding of video editing techniques, color correction, motion graphics, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team workplace
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to interpret project needs clearly
- Knowledge of digital media trends and best practices for social media content creation

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
