Responsibilities

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of water systems, including pumps, valves, and pipelines to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently during installation or repair projects.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to move equipment, materials, or supplies necessary for water system operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with water treatment or distribution equipment and implement effective repairs promptly.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new water infrastructure projects while following safety guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections,



and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all work adheres to environmental regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in operating or maintaining water systems or related equipment.
- Prior experience working within the oil & gas industry or similar industrial environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or cranes required for project tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks that involve manual labor over extended periods.
- Relevant certifications related to heavy equipment operation or water system maintenance are a plus.
