ABOUT HECOD

HECOD Blockchain Inc. is a Vancouver-based applied technology company. We build software, workflow, and verifiable systems for markets that still run on disconnected spreadsheets, inboxes, and portals.

Our approach is "technology without ideology." We start with the operational problem and choose the tools after. Cloud infrastructure, conventional databases, APIs, workflow automation, and applied AI do most of the work. Blockchain is used only where shared verification and tamper-evident records add practical value.

Our products

- HECOD Collect (controlled preview): a receivables workspace for B2B service businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and shared inboxes. It brings invoices, follow-up decisions, and customer responses into one reviewable record.
- HECOD Shelfware (planned): software spend and renewal control. It connects finance, IT, and department evidence so an owner can decide whether to keep, investigate, or change a subscription.
- EVRAYO (in development): an operating layer for private real estate that connects sponsors, property-specific entities, and eligible investors from onboarding through distributions.
- HECOD Block (invitation-only): our first launched product, a no-code blockchain deployment platform.

We also deliver custom software, integration, and advisory work for small businesses, enterprises, and the public sector.

THE ROLE

You will build and maintain the web surfaces people actually use: the HECOD Collect application, the customer response portal, and the hecod.tech website.

Collect users are finance people and business owners working through overdue invoices. They need dense, readable tables, clear status, and no surprises. Their customers open a single link to respond about one invoice, often on a phone. The standard for both is calm, fast, accessible, and multilingual from the start.

MAIN DUTIES

- Research, design, develop, and produce websites and web applications
- Consult with stakeholders to develop and document website and application requirements
- Prepare mock-ups, prototypes, and user flows, and develop site and application architecture
- Write, modify, integrate,



and test code for web and mobile-responsive applications
- Ensure proper integration of web applications with backend services, databases, and APIs
- Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions to the Lead – Technology and the team
- Research and evaluate web frameworks, software tools, and services
- Maintain websites and web applications, including updates, fixes, and performance improvements
- Prepare technical documentation for components and front-end architecture

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

HECOD Collect application

- Build data tables for invoices and customers with aging, balances, currency, and status, using tabular figures and right-aligned amounts
- Build approval queues, reminder draft review screens, and follow-up history views
- Build clear empty, loading, and error states: plain sentences and one action
- Show verified records with the approved verified icon and label, never decorative graphics

Customer response portal
- Build the scoped portal where a customer views one invoice and records a payment promise or dispute
- Make it work well on mobile, with minimal steps and no account required

Localization
- Support EN-US, FR-CA, ES, and DE across the application
- Handle language, currency, region, date format, and time zone as separate settings
- Work with translators and reviewers to keep strings accurate and consistent

Design system and accessibility
- Implement and maintain the HECOD design system: tokens, components, typography, and dark mode
- Meet WCAG 2.2 AA for contrast, keyboard navigation, focus states, and screen readers
- Respect reduced-motion settings; keep transitions short and purposeful

Website and performance
- Maintain hecod.tech and collect.hecod.tech marketing and documentation pages
- Monitor and improve page speed, Core Web Vitals, and reliability
- Write automated tests for components and critical user flows

REQUIREMENTS

Education

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, OR
- College diploma in web development, computer programming, or a related program

Experience
- 3+ years of professional web development experience
- Experience shipping and maintaining a production web application used by real customers

Technical skills




- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript
- Robust React
- Modern HTML and CSS, including responsive layout
- Building accessible interfaces to WCAG AA standards
- Integrating front ends with REST APIs or database-backed services
- Front-end testing (component and end-to-end)
- Git, code review, and CI/CD pipelines

Working skills
- Clear written communication in English
- Attention to detail in layout, spacing, and copy
- Comfortable working in a small team without layers of management

NICE TO HAVE

- Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion
- Supabase
- Experience with internationalization libraries and localized number, currency, and date formatting
- Experience building data-heavy business or finance interfaces
- Experience with design tools such as Figma
- French, Spanish, or German proficiency
- A portfolio or code samples showing business application interfaces

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 3 months

- You understand Collect's interface, component library, and localization setup
- You have shipped several interface features or fixes to production with tests
- You have run an accessibility review on at least one key flow and fixed the issues found

First 12 months
- You own the front end of Collect, including the design system implementation
- The customer portal is fully localized in all four languages and tested on mobile
- Current screens are built from shared components rather than one-off code
