Adecco is currently hiring Order Pickers for a full-time Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity in Debert, NS. As an Order Picker, you'll play a key role in a busy grocery distribution warehouse. Using a voice-directed headset system and an electric pallet truck, you'll travel throughout the warehouse selecting products and building customer orders. This is a physically active role that requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety.

Pay Rate: $

Location: Debert, NS

Schedule: Temporary to Permanent | Full-time

Shifts: Monday to Sunday | 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Safely operate an electric pallet truck throughout the warehouse (training provided)

Use a voice-picking headset system to receive order assignments and product locations

Travel through warehouse aisles with an empty pallet to pick customer orders

Accurately locate and select grocery products using coded inventory locations

Manually lift and place boxed grocery items onto pallets

Build customer orders while meeting productivity and accuracy targets

Deliver completed pallets to designated drop-off areas for further processing

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Report damages, inventory discrepancies, and safety concerns to supervisors

Work collaboratively with team members to support daily warehouse operations

Requirements:

Previous experience in order picking, warehousing, logistics, distribution, or material handling is considered an asset





Ability to learn and safely operate an electric pallet truck

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, productivity-focused environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy

Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and move products throughout the shift

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Ability to follow verbal instructions through a headset system

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused with a strong work ethic

Adaptable to work a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends

Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada.
