We are a busy family of four with two school-aged children (Grade 2 and Grade 5) looking for a reliable, organized and proactive Household Manager / Family Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. This is primarily a household support role, with occasional childcare and school/homework support as part of the position. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is naturally organized, enjoys cooking, and is warm and comfortable around children. The house is cleaned every other week, so this role is not intended to involve deep cleaning. Instead, we're looking for someone to help with the ongoing household tasks that keep our home organized, tidy and running smoothly, including laundry, linens, and meal preparation. We are located near Islington and Dundas in Etobicoke. Schedule: • 3 days per week • Approximately 4 hours per day • Weekdays, afternoons preferred • Approximately 12 hours per week • One parent works from home full-time, so the ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in a home where a parent is present • Looking for someone interested in a consistent, long-term position Household Support - Primary Responsibilities: • General tidying and keeping the home organized • Kitchen cleaning, dishwasher emptying, etc. • Light bathroom cleaning and general household upkeep • Sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning floors, as needed • Changing bed linens • Washing and folding laundry • Meal prep and assembly, including preparing produce, snacks and other components in advance • Following recipes and meal-prep requests, while also being comfortable taking initiative with healthy, family-friendly meals • Preparing and cooking family dinners • Occasional grocery shopping or household errands, as needed Family & Childcare Support - Occasional: • Pick up our two children from school approximately 1-2 days per week, as needed • Assist children with their after-school routine • Prepare snacks or an early dinner for the children • Assist with homework for Grade 2 and Grade 5 • Provide occasional supervision and a warm,



caring environment • Help get the children organized and ready for evening activities when needed We have before- and after-care arrangements in place, so childcare is not the primary responsibility of this position. The occasional school pickup and after-school support would help our family manage the transition between school and evening activities. Ideal Candidate: • Previous experience as a housekeeper, household manager, family assistant, nanny/housekeeper or similar role • Highly organized, dependable and able to work independently • Warm, friendly and comfortable around school-aged children • Enjoys cooking and is comfortable preparing healthy family meals • Able to follow recipes and meal-prep instructions, while also being comfortable taking initiative • Takes pride in keeping a home clean, organized and running efficiently • Comfortable with laundry, linens and general household tasks • Strong attention to detail • Reliable and punctual • Patient and comfortable helping children with homework • Clean background record and strong references required • Driver's license and access to a vehicle are an asset, but not required Compensation: • $28-32/hour depending on experience and qualifications We are looking for someone who would enjoy becoming a trusted and valued part of our family's routine.
