With a growing fleet of tractors and flatbed trailers, we are looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy-Duty Truck Technician responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills and takes pride in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, and driveline components Diagnose and repair air brake systems and suspension systems Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting Repair and maintain HVAC, lighting, and other truck systems Inspect and repair flatbed trailers and related equipment Perform emergency and breakdown repairs when required Complete scheduled PM services and safety inspections Identify potential mechanical issues before they become major repairs Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable Canadian transportation regulations Maintain a clean and organized shop and work area Work with the dispatch and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime Qualifications 3+ years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks and/or trailers Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems Experience with air brakes, electrical systems, suspension, and driveline components Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems efficiently Experience with preventative maintenance programs 310T Truck & Coach Technician certification is an asset Trailer repair experience is an asset Valid driver's license Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Good communication and problem-solving skills What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Full time, stable employment Consistent work with an established transportation company Opportunity to work on a modern heavy-duty trucking fleet Ongoing training and opportunities for advancement Supportive and professional work environment Steady hours with opportunities for overtime Apply Today If you are an experienced diesel mechanic who takes pride in maintaining heavy-duty equipment and wants to join a growing transportation company, we would like to hear from you.
