Now Hiring: Lead Carpenter and Carpenter Helper Full-time | Edmonton | Abalon Construction Abalon Construction is a locally owned Edmonton foundation repair company with more than 40 years in business. We are looking for a full-time Lead Carpenter or Carpenter Helper to join our crew and take on structural carpentry work in homes across the city. The job is varied and physical. You will frame interior support walls, complete selective demo, repair wood rot, and work on beam repairs or adjustments. You will also help with related site tasks as each foundation job requires. This is not a one-task position. People who do well here can handle changing conditions, follow direction, and take ownership of their work. Compensation and benefits $27–$40+/hour,

Expect 8–10+ hour days depending on workload and job conditions. Must have Valid Class 5 driver’s licence Ability to work safely on occupied residential sites For Lead Carpenter: strong framing and structural repair experience lead leading crews or helpers.
