Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures

- Support with vehicle inspections, troubleshooting issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Participate in welding and assembly tasks as required for specific repairs or modifications
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely to move parts or equipment during service operations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Follow dealership protocols for customer service by ensuring timely communication about vehicle status and repair progress
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or having completed the first year of an automotive technician apprenticeship or similar program
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong desire to learn is essential
- Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Experience with welding, assembly, or automotive repair is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills in maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
