About Capital Catalyst

Capital Catalyst connects private market managers with Canadian institutional investors, including pension funds, family offices, foundations, insurers and Indigenous investment organizations. We help managers across private credit, infrastructure, real estate and private equity build lasting institutional relationships in Québec and across Canada.

The role

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Associate to support our institutional partnerships work. You will work directly with the founder on manager mandates, investor research and roadshow execution. This is a hands-on role with real exposure to senior decision-makers in Canadian institutional finance, and a strong learning opportunity for someone starting a career in private markets.

What you will do

- Research and map institutional investors: allocation trends, investment mandates, decision-makers and fit with our managers' strategies
- Build and maintain investor pipelines in our CRM (Copper), keeping activity, follow-ups and meeting notes accurate and up to date




- Coordinate quarterly investor roadshows in Montréal and Québec City: scheduling, logistics, briefing notes and post-meeting follow-up
- Support due diligence on prospective manager partners: review fund documents, track records, strategy and team
- Prepare presentations, investor briefs, market updates and internal reports
- Track market activity across private credit, infrastructure, real estate and private equity
- Contribute to business development and new manager mandates

What we are looking for

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in asset management, institutional sales, investment banking, consulting or a related field (internships count)
- Fluent in French and English, written and spoken, as the role involves regular exchanges with investors and managers across Canada
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; CRM experience is an asset (Copper preferred)
- Clear, qualified communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, reliable and comfortable managing several priorities at once
- Genuine interest in private markets and institutional investing
- CSC completed or in progress is an asset
