Indee Cafe is getting ready to open, and we’re looking for experienced baristas to join our small team!

Indee Cafe is a new independent neighbourhood café connected to Indee Room, our lifestyle boutique in Old St. Vital. We’ll be serving specialty coffee, matcha, tea, and baked goods in a warm, welcoming space.

We’re looking for people who love making great drinks, enjoy getting to know customers, and care about the little details that make a café feel special.

We’re open to hiring one full-time barista or a few part-time baristas, depending on experience and availability.

Who We’re Looking For

Previous barista experience is required. We’d love to find someone who:

- Is confident using a commercial espresso machine and grinder
- Has experience dialing in espresso, steaming milk, and preparing café drinks
- Is comfortable using a POS system and handling customer transactions
- Is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enjoys connecting with customers
- Cares about making drinks consistently and with attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual, and comfortable taking initiative
- Can stay organized and positive when things get busy
- Is comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organized
- Has weekday and weekend availability, including daytime shifts
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset

What You’ll Be Doing





You’ll be preparing espresso drinks, matcha, chai, tea, and other café beverages; serving baked goods; taking orders and processing payments through our POS system; helping customers; restocking; keeping the café clean and organized; and helping with opening and closing tasks.

Because we’re a small café, everyone will pitch in where needed. We’re hoping to build a team that works well together and genuinely enjoys creating a great experience for our customers.
