Reports To: Director of Channel Partnerships
Location: Hybrid (Thornhill, ON, Canada)
Role Type: Full-Time
About Us:
At WellnessLiving, we empower health and wellness business owners to turn their passion into thriving businesses. Our mission-critical software supports thousands of entrepreneurs and millions of clients worldwide on their wellness journeys. We’re a customer-first company that values excellence, accountability, and adaptability, and we’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a meaningful impact in the wellness industry.
Our culture is guided by four core values that shape how we work and grow together:
Customer First – We approach every challenge with a deep commitment to our customers’ success and happiness.
Excellence – We hold ourselves to a high standard and strive for exceptional execution in everything we do.
Accountability – We take ownership of our decisions, actions, and results.
Adaptability – We embrace change, stay flexible, and continuously evolve in a dynamic world.
If these values resonate with you and you meet the qualifications for this role, we’d love to hear from you!
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to grow referral revenue through WellnessLiving’s partner network and customer-referral program. Reporting to the Director of Channel Partnerships, you will own partner marketing — from event activations and email invitations to social strategy, follow-up, and partner-led content — and you will manage the customer-referral program end to end. You will also run The Founders’ Journey podcast and Customer Champions, WellnessLiving’s Customer Advisory Board of operators who preview features and give product feedback.
The job is to deepen partner and customer relationships and turn those relationships into more referrals. You will work closely with Channel Partnerships, Product, Customer Success, Events, Creative, and the VP of Marketing.
Success is measured on partner- and customer-sourced referral pipeline, stronger customer-referral program performance, and consistent partner content that makes the network easier to activate.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Marketing
- Own partner marketing across activations, partner events, email invitations and follow-up, and partner social strategy.
- Plan and run partner event marketing: pre-event outreach, invitations, on-site or virtual activation support,
and post-event follow-up that deepens the relationship and produces referral activity.
- Coordinate and produce partner-related content — webinars, podcast interviews, expert interviews, social content and related assets — that showcases the partner network and gives partners something they want to share.
- Use that content and those events to strengthen partner relationships and drive more partner-sourced referral revenue.
- Identify potential partners through program work and introduce them to Channel Partnerships for follow-up. You do not own partner contracts or conversion.
Customer Referral Program
- Manage the customer-referral program with a clear goal: increase customer referrals overall.
- Own the program calendar and deliverables — activations, campaigns, email invitations, and follow-up sequences that give customers a reason to refer and make it easy to complete the referral.
- Build and ship stronger referral assets and campaign packages (email, landing support, social copy, and partner/customer talking points) and measure what actually produces referrals.
- Work with Channel Partnerships on targeting, timing, and handoff of referral-ready conversations.
The Founders’ Journey Podcast
- Own the podcast calendar, guest booking, recording logistics, brand-safety review, and publish.
- Use the show as a partner- and customer-relationship tool: book operators and partners, then convert solid conversations into clips, follow-up, and referral opportunities.
Customer Champions (Customer Advisory Board)
- Recruit and maintain a small standing board of customers (typically 8–12 operators) who preview features and give structured product feedback.
- Coordinate feature-preview sessions with Product, synthesize insights, and deliver written memos Product can act on.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 4+ years in B2B channel marketing, partner marketing, or customer-referral / advocacy marketing. Community moderation alone is not a substitute.
- Partner Marketing: Experience running partner events, co-marketing activations, and partner content (webinars, interviews, short-form video)
that deepens the relationship and produces referral activity.
- Referral Programs: Experience managing a customer- or partner-referral program, including campaigns, email invitations, follow-up, and performance reporting.
- Customer Programs: Experience running a customer advisory board, champion group, or similar operator forum, and turning conversations into product insight.
- Content Production: Comfort coordinating webinars, podcast interviews, and short-form video with Creative and Events.
- Pipeline Orientation: Comfort being measured on referral volume and influenced pipeline — not vanity engagement.
- Written Synthesis: Strong writing and editorial judgment, including session notes and insight memos that Product and Sales will use.
- Operator Communication: Clear, confident communication with studio and wellness-business owners.
- Self-Starter Mindset: Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to run multiple programs from concept through completion with minimal oversight.
- Nice to have: Experience in wellness, fitness, beauty, or other multi-location SMB software; familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM; and existing relationships with studio founders or industry operators.
Why Work With Us?
- Join a passionate, fast-growing team focused on making a meaningful impact in the Fitness & Wellness industry.
- Enjoy a competitive compensation package, including vacation and benefits.
- Benefit from a flexible hybrid work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Be part of a collaborative culture that values creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Please note that only those selected for an interview will be contacted. We appreciate you taking the time and look forward to reviewing your application!
