Griffins Gateway is a Before and After School Care Program operating in Port Moody. We have been providing quality childcare since 1999. Our program is located in Glenayre Elementary School.

We are looking for new members to join our team. Our program operates before school 7am-8:45 am and after school from 2:30-5:30 pm Monday to Friday. We are a licensed childcare program providing care for children from Kindergarten to Grade 5.

This position is for a childcare leader who with other staff would be providing care for a group of 24 children (Kindergarten and grade one) or a group of 30 children (grade two-five). We are looking for staff who can join our program for a minimum of three-five days per week. Our program operates on the school calandar.

We close during Winter, Spring and Summer breaks.

Our staff work as a team to provide a energetic, active program where children can grow and thrive outside of school. We are play based and encourage our staff to engage, participate,



and assist in planning the program. Our center spends as much time as we can using the large outdoor play places we have available to us. Inside the school we have the gymnasium and two classrooms where inside pursuits like games, art, building activities and snack routines happen.

The requirements for employment with Griffins Gatway are a minimum age of 19, The Responsible Adult Certificate, Childsafe First Aid, and a Criminal Record Clearance that our organization will have you complete. Wage start depends on qualifications. We are part of the wage enhancment program for ECE To start is $20.00
