Classroom Aides support students with special needs, early years students and assists with supervising. Applicants require a secondary school diploma. Post secondary education is preferred. A general knowledge associated with the care of students with special needs and early years students is an asset. The duties of the Classroom Aide are to assist the instructions taught in the classroom to students by reviewing lessons and/or concepts with students individually or in a small group.
The Classroom
Aide will also promote positive behaviour, as well as assist and supervise students in the classroom, outside the classroom on the playground, and on field trips.
Applications for the Classroom aide positions are required to submit a completed , cover letter, résumé and copy of diploma(s) directly to Apply to Education only.
