Pathways Clubhouse is a community-based non-profit and registered charity serving adults in the Lower Mainland living with mental health challenges. Located in Richmond, BC, we have over 300 active members, an average daily attendance of 50 , and are open every day of the year. We offer a strengths-based environment where members and staff work side-by-side in meaningful work across programs including employment, housing, education, wellness, social recreation, and community engagement.

About the Role

Reporting to the Program Manager, Food & Fun Unit, the Weekend Program Staff supports the delivery of Pathways Clubhouse's weekend, social and recreational programming.

Working alongside another staff and Clubhouse members, you will help coordinate weekend Clubhouse operations, including preparing and serving lunch, facilitating and engaging members in social and recreational activities, and helping create an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Weekend staff are expected to be comfortable working independently with limited supervision, making day-to-day decisions, problem-solving,



and responding to the needs of members throughout the shift.

Qualifications

- Education in social services, mental health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with people living with mental health challenges is an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable facilitating social and recreational activities with individuals and groups
- Able to work collaboratively and independently with limited supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond appropriately to changing member and program needs
- Additional language skills, particularly Cantonese and/or Mandarin, are an asset
- FOODSAFE Level 1 and Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1, or willingness to obtain after hiring
- Satisfactory completion of a Criminal Record Check

Employment Details

Permanent Part-Time | Non-Union Position | $20.53/hour

Scheduling on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays, with a preferred minimum commitment of 24 hours per month. This position is well suited to someone looking for flexible part-time work. Shifts are scheduled based on staff availability and the operational needs of the Clubhouse.
