Livingstone Range School Division requires a Full time Educational Assistant to work as part of the complexity team. This position will be based out of F.P. Walshe school in Fort Macleod, AB., but may require travelling to other schools throughout the Division to provide support. The position will begin as soon as possible and will end on June 29, 2027.

Under the direction of the Complexity Team Teacher, school Administration and Division Office staff, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for student(s) to help meet the goals identified in the student's learning plan, as well as in-class support for students.

Desired Qualifications Include The Following

- Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility
- Experience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex behaviours




- Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team
- Experience or training working with First Nations cultures
- Physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with a student with complex needs
- Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent would be an asset
- NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.
