We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator specializing in appliance repair to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Manage incoming customer inquiries via multi-line phone systems, providing transparent and professional communication with a focus on excellent phone etiquette.
- Schedule and dispatch appliance repair technicians efficiently using transportation management systems like Jobber, ensuring optimal routing and timely service.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and manage freight/shipping & receiving activities related to appliance parts and equipment.
- Maintain accurate data entry in systems such as Jobber shipping & Receiving logs, ensuring all information is current and precise.
- Conduct analysis of dispatch data to identify trends, improve operational workflows, and enhance overall service quality.
- Oversee shipping schedules, inventory levels, and delivery timelines by utilizing transportation management systems and analysis skills.
- Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations while demonstrating professionalism through excellent communication skills.
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service roles involving dispatch or coordination within appliance repair or related industries.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems, supply chain processes, and freight logistics.
- Hands-on experience with software such as Jobber enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong data entry skills combined with analysis capabilities to interpret operational metrics.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience managing multi-line phone systems and maintaining high standards of phone etiquette.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail through proficient typing skills.
