Class 3 Driver/Picker Permanent Full-Time Immediately Monday to Friday, 6:00am Start Drivers- $25.27, Pickers- $21.47 per hour Today, Miller Waste operates collection fleets, recycling facilities, transfer stations, and composting operations that help communities manage waste responsibly while recovering valuable resources from the waste stream. The Class 3 Driver/Picker & Picker is responsible for operating and/or loading various waste collection vehicles to pick up recycling, garbage, paper/cardboard, and organics from both residential and commercial customers.

The role involves providing dependable customer service, safely transporting collected materials to transfer stations or disposal sites, and following established routes, schedules, and regulations. Complete various waste stream collection from residential and commercial customers. Provide customers with reliable and high-quality customer service as the proper disposal of the waste streams are vital to the health and well-being of the residents of the community that you are servicing.

Collect and transport the various waste streams to local transfer stations, compost facilities or landfill sites in an efficient and appropriate manner.



Adhere to the collection and delivery schedule while following all relevant policies and procedures of the Company, Department of Environment as well as the by-laws of the Municipality in which you are working. Drivers- Valid and clean Class 3 or higher Driver's Licence.

Drivers- Previous driving experience is a requirement. A physically fit lifestyle would be a benefit and previous waste industry experience would be considered an asset. Must be available to work overtime, holidays and Saturdays, when required.
