We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Receptionist to join our privately owned dental practice.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they call or walk through our doors. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, stays organized, and works well as part of a team.

Previous dental experience is an asset, but we are happy to consider the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with our practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Warmly greet patients and help create a comfortable, welcoming environment
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using cloud-based dental software
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions and inquiries
- Manage patient communications in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic patient records
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out
- Verify insurance information and assist with dental insurance claims as needed
- Collect and process patient payments
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and general dental information
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and other team members to help keep the day running smoothly




- Assist with other administrative and front-desk duties as required

What We’re Looking For
- Previous dental reception or dental office experience is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with dental software and electronic patient records is an asset
- Knowledge of dental terminology is an asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team-oriented team and contributing to a positive workplace
