Role Description The DevOps Engineer in Platform role is a full-time remote position responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable platform infrastructure. Day-to-day work includes building and managing CI pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, and optimizing system performance across Linux-based environments. The role involves collaborating with software development teams to streamline releases, monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, and improving observability, resilience, and incident response processes.

The engineer will also contribute to platform standards, documentation,



and best practices to ensure consistent and efficient operations across projects.

Qualifications

- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, and experience automating setting provisioning and configuration.
- Foundational Software Development skills (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar) for scripting, tooling, and integration with platform services.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and delivery tools (such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI) to build, test, and deploy applications.
- Solid System Administration capabilities with a focus on Linux, including performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog) and a proactive approach to reliability and incident management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly in written and verbal form, and work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
