Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area and throughout the kitchen.
- Assist with food prep tasks when necessary, including organizing supplies and ensuring ingredients are ready for cooking.
- Support the kitchen team by removing trash, recycling, and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
- Restock dishware and utensils in their designated areas to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation.




- Collaborate with staff to uphold a welcoming and efficient restaurant environment focused on hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and basic kitchen operations is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
