Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Dispatcher to coordinate transportation and logistics operations efficiently. In this vital role, you will serve as the communication hub between drivers, clients, and warehouse teams, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of freight. Responsibilities

- Manage dispatching activities using transportation management systems (TMS) to schedule pickups, deliveries, and route planning.
- Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and warehouse personnel to ensure freight is shipped and received accurately and on time.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems and maintain skilled phone etiquette when communicating with clients, drivers, and internal teams.
- Enter data precisely into systems such as AS400 and SyteLine for shipment tracking, shipping & receiving logs, and inventory updates.
- Analyze shipping schedules, freight requirements, and supply chain data to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor shipment statuses, troubleshoot delays or issues promptly, and communicate updates clearly to all stakeholders.




- Maintain organized records of shipping documents, inbound/outbound logs, and related documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

- Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS), AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, freight logistics, and shipping & receiving procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy; typing speed is a plus.
- Analysis skills to evaluate shipping data, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers and freight management practices preferred.
- Knowledge of SyteLine or similar ERP software is advantageous for coordinating shipments efficiently.

Pay: $18.18-$25.00 per hour
