Class 1 Driver – Calcium Division (Slave Lake, Alberta)

Tiger Calcium Services Inc. is seeking a Class 1 Driver in our Slave Lake, Alberta location to drive winch tractor/lowbed, gravel truck, and heavy equipment in support of plant and highway operations.

As part of our hiring process, successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening, which will include drug and alcohol testing as well as a background and reference check.

What You Will Do In This Role

- Operate tractor-trailers to haul waste to disposal sites and product for rail car loading.
- Operate winch tractors and gravel trucks throughout Western Canada.
- Operate heavy equipment for plant support and yard maintenance.




- Load and unload product and equipment.
- Complete logbooks accurately in accordance with Federal Hours of Service.
- Complete accurate waybill entries in TMW.
- Complete daily job hazard assessments.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace and follow and promote Tiger’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Represent Tiger professionally with customers and the general public.

What We Are Looking For

- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Minimum 3 years of driving experience.
- Experience operating winch tractor/scissor neck lowbed, wheel loader, grader, excavator, dozer, skid steer and forklift.
- Experience loading, unloading and securing equipment and materials, including proper use of load securement devices.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic pumps.
- Knowledge of Federal Hours of Service.
- Ability to install tire chains.
- Able to work independently, problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team with Dispatch and customers.
- Liquid bulk hauling, off-road and mountain driving, and TMW experience are assets.
- Experience working on CN Rail property is an asset.
