Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote active learning and curiosity
- Foster a positive classroom workplace that encourages social interaction and emotional development
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation
- Care for children’s physical needs by assisting with feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines
- Observe and document each child's progress to tailor activities that support individual growth
- Collaborate with families and colleagues to create consistent routines and effective communication
- Maintain a clean, safe,



and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards

Qualifications

- Ability to follow the NB ECE curriculum framework - maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for children
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and practices
- Classroom experience demonstrating ability to manage group activities effectively
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Excellent teaching skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm
- Formal training or certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to nurturing young learners
