Educational Assistant Diploma: Post-secondary diploma/credential in Educational Support or Special Education, with knowledge of IEP implementation and inclusive learning strategies.

Responsibilities Will Include

Execute IEP &

- Learning Support:



Deliver tailored curriculum adaptations and academic support to individual students or small groups as directed by the Learning Support Services Coordinator and/or classroom teacher(s).

Foster Social-Emotional Development: Apply positive behavior management, co-regulation support, and de-escalation techniques to ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Assist with Personal Care &

- Mobility: Support learners with specialized mobility equipment, sensory tools, and daily personal care/hygiene needs as required.

Classroom Logistics &
- Supervision: Help prepare learning materials and provide active learner supervision during instruction, transitions, break, and lunch.
