Responsibilities

What You Can Expect from Your Work Term:

- An optimal work experience in all aspects of the Electrical and Instrumentation trades in a safety-conscientious environment
- Assist in the troubleshooting and programming in distributed controls (DCS)



and programmable controls (PLC)
- Students will assist qualified tradespeople in their day-to-day activities
- Maintain and installation of control equipment
- Preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and process improvement

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Education Required: High School Diploma, enrolled in a 3-year Electrical, Controls and Technology program and in good academic standing
- Available for full-time work from January to April 2027
- Problem-solving skills
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Pulp and Paper or heavy industry experience would be considered an asset
