JRG Electric is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.

You’ll work across a variety of commercial, residential, service, and renovation projects, handling everything from recent installations to troubleshooting and system upgrades.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and project specifications.
- Complete wiring, conduit installation, panel assembly, equipment connections, and system upgrades.
- Diagnose electrical problems efficiently and recommend practical solutions.
- Perform renovations, service upgrades, and replacements of existing electrical infrastructure.
- Work with commercial, residential, industrial, and low-voltage systems.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other trades to keep projects running smoothly.




- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials, and service findings.

Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, wiring methods, and safe work practices.
- Ability to accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with conduit bending, panel work, troubleshooting, renovations, and electrical installations.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, dependable, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
- Experience working in active construction and service environments.

Additional Assets
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Experience with low-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers, automation, or control systems.
- Service-call and renovation experience.
- Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
